Innov8 Sportz CIC is passionate about improving the lives of young children through physical activity. We value the importance of a strong foundation of physical literacy skills and believe it is not only important for young children to be physical active, but that it is as important for them to enjoy physical activity to allow them to have a positive relationship with it throughout their lives.
Nursery and Preschool Physical Literacy Delivery
Innov8 Sportz CIC has developed a physical literacy programme that focuses on the development of fundamental physical literacy skills in a fun and engaging environment. The sessions also focus on social skills development and meet all the requirements of the OFSTED inspected Early Years Foundation Stage framework for physical development.
Community FUNdamentals of Movement Delivery
These sessions are held within a community setting and are an extension of the pre-school session delivery. As not all children will attend a nursery or pre-school, this gives them an opportunity to access regular physical literacy development sessions.
Parent and Toddler Sessions
These sessions are delivered in a community setting where parents are encouraged to help and support their child as they develop key movement skills. The session also gives the parents the opportunity to be physically active alongside their child, which supports the development of whole family, positive relationship with physical activity.
Sports Specific Sessions
These sessions are based around a specific sport, with programmes tailored to support young children with specific skill sets and attributes concerning a specific sport (e.g. football, rugby, basketball etc.), as well as developing key transferable movement skills and patterns that enhance the development of physical ability.
Early Years Activity Days
A fun and engaging half day of physical activity and partially structured play, tailored to develop physical literacy and social skills key to young children’s development. We host a range of activities and challenges for the children to participate in. We also aim to aid local pre-school and nursery staff with idea’s and the confidence to run engaging and purposeful activities within their setting.
